Forgings: Forging is manufacturing process where metal is pressed, pounded or squeezed under great pressure into high strength parts. The process is normally performed by preheating the metal to a desired temperature before it is worked. There are other applications where the metal is "cold formed". Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses are employed to form the metal to its desired shape. Open & Closed Die Forging are two common forming methods. Steel & Aluminum are used to produce forged parts.
